JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide direct care to assigned patients Take the nursing history, summarise data, and state nursing diagnoses and patient care needs.
  • Provides skilled safe, holistic and culturally competent, person-centred nursing care to patients, families, community and society, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team irrespective of healthcare settings.
  • Provides and evaluates direct patient care.
  • Coordinates nursing services with the services of other health care disciplines.
  • Evaluates the quality and appropriateness of care.
  • Accepts organizational accountability for services provided to recipients.
  • Accepts accountability for own actions and decision-making and for the related outcome.
  • Delivers nursing care and practices, embedding the organization Registered Nurse Scope of Practice as the ethical and professional framework, alongside consideration of the socio-cultural needs of patients, families, communities and society.
  • Implements prescribed interventions (e.g. diagnostic tests, medications) and performs independent nursing interventions (e.g. patient or client and family education) Ensures the implementation, coordination and ongoing evaluation of the patient or client care plan.
  • Adhere to infection-control protocols.
  • Check and maintain nursing supplies inventory.
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance of equipment operation and inventory.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

  • Utilize the nursing process in the planning, coordination, assessment and implementation of athlete nursing care and treatment.
  • Deliver care to athletes that is culturally and religiously appropriate and which promotes positive health outcomes.
  • Conduct nursing interventions in accordance with Employer policy, procedure and code of conduct and in accordance with Qatar legislation, Professional registration, and Recognised scope of practice.
  • Comply with the direction and guidance of the Clinic Director in the planning and delivery of athlete care.
  • Ensures the medical clinic facilities are properly maintained and cleaned and that disposal of waste products occurs in accordance with agreed standards and policies.
  • Identify and report situations or practices that affect/have the potential to affect patient safety and outcomes.
  • Facilitate the Medication Management process in the medical clinic under the supervision of the Clinic Director and as per NSMP Pharmacy policies including but not limited to: maintaining medication/consumable inventory and ensuring safe storage of same; medication administration and documentation.
  • Effectively utilize clinical equipment and technology
  • As required, attend training, competition and/or sporting events in nursing/first aid capacity.
  • Promote athlete health and wellness by: Providing advice and support on healthy lifestyle to Athletes; Developing and delivering relevant education programs; Identifying and addressing barriers to learning and the adoption of healthy practices
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of strategies to support the application of quality standards and quality improvements.
  • Promote the application of evidenced based data and standards of clinical excellence in athlete care.
  • Participate in the development and review of policies and procedures as required.
  • Attend and successfully complete competencies which focus on patient safety initiatives implemented within Aspetar (including annual patient safety training).
  • Demonstrate effective written communication skills in clinical documentation.
  • Attend multi-discipline and department meetings when required.
  • Appropriately escalate information to the Clinic Director as required.
  • Maintain a high standard of communication and collaboration with athletes, family members, the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders to ensure optimum athlete care.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and oral.
  • Assist the Clinic Director in coordinating medical clinic educational activities.
  • Deliver relevant clinical education to multidisciplinary staff (e.g. infection control and other safety practices that impact on athlete and staff health).
  • Orientate new staff to relevant medical clinic policies and practices.
  • Maintain annual mandatory and core competencies relevant to the position.
  • Plan for and participate in continuing education and training relevant and applicable to scope of practice, in order to fulfil CME requirements to ensure nursing license retention (as per QCHP) and to maintain professional knowledge and clinical competence.
  • Participate in the Performance Development system to promote personal and service developments.
  • Maintain accurate records relevant to clinical excellence principles.
  • Ensure that individualized medical records are maintained for each athlete.
  • Demonstrate proficient use of information technology including effective data entry.
  • Provide other reports, statistics and record keeping as required.
  • Attend and successfully complete competencies which focus on patient safety initiatives implemented within . Patient Safety Training is an annual requirement, to include all organizational leaders, staff, service and contracted providers.

2] GENERAL PRACTITIONER MALE / FEMALE :

REQUIREMENTS :- 

  • WITH QCHP LICENSE AND EMPLOYER NOC.
  • OR QATAR PROMETRIC & DATAFLOW.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Respond to patients’ medical/health problems by referring to their history and carrying out diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate.
  • Discuss side-effects, best conditions for use and possible interactions of medication.
  • Contribute to the delivery of patient services with nurses, technicians and other medical staff.
  • Collect, record and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports and examination results.
  • Supervise and train medical staff.
  • Participate in research studies commissioned by the hospital board.
  • Maintain accurate medical treatment.
  • Educate patients regarding conditions of treatment.

3] VIP HOME NURSE :

Requirements :

  • Candidates should: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Be a Nurse in their country of origin.
  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a hospital setting. 
  • Be willing to now work within a private household environment to look after a male stakeholder.
  • Promote the overall wellness of the Principal(s) by providing high-quality nursing healthcare.
  • Conduct routinary check ups.
  • Provide first-aid for various situations. 
  • Administer medication and provide treatments according to doctors and consultants. 
  • Make recommendations about healthcare.
  • Maintain an organized documentation system/filing system for the stakeholders health files.
  • Preferably already based in Doha, Qatar. 
  • QCHP LICENSED Candidates are preferred.
  •  Qatar Prometric and Dataflow nurses are preferred. 
  • Benefits Above-market salaries could be considered depending on experience.
